Telefactor Robotics Acquires Contineo Robotics LLC, adding advanced robotic dexterity solutions to the company's core capabilities

Telefactor announces the planned acquisition of 100% of Contineo Robotics' assets.  The transaction is anticipated to be completed before the end of calendar year 2013.  

This acquisition represents the convergence of industry-leading remote vision system capabilities and advanced robotic dexterity solutions to enable the forward projection of human capabilities into remote or hazardous areas.

Telefactor becomes the only existing robotics company to offer combined technologies that allow the user to perceive the environment as if they were actually there and to then perform work in that environment through intuitively controlled solutions.  Telefactor aims to provide the complete end-to-end scalable solution set for systems ranging from micro-mobility platforms to heavy-lift capabilities across a broad spectrum of DoD, Homeland Security and Industrial applications.

Contineo Robotics principals Stuart D. Harshbarger and Matthew V. Kozlowski Ph.D. will join Telefactor Robotics.

Chatten Associates spins off Telefactor Robotics: New company will focus on remote vision and telepresence

Chatten Associates Inc. has spun off its remote vision and telepresence business to form a new company, Telefactor Robotics.

 

Telefactor Robotics' product portfolio includes:

- HARV gimbals and pan-tilt units

- HARV-3D HD stereo remote vision

- VideoMonitor head-aimed control software

- JAUS or HARV-SDK

Neuropotentials work related to epilepsy and polysomnography remains with Chatten Associates.

Martha Jane Chatten has built the product family of remote vision system capabilities under Chatten Associates Inc. and is leading the restructuring and rebranding process to form Telefactor Robotics LLC as President and CEO.
